According to the Monroney Label provided in the gallery, notable factory equipment includes 16-inch wheels, a locking center differential, leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and automatic climate control. The seller reports no notable modifications.
Toyota launched the 100-Series Land Cruiser for 1998 as a replacement for the 80-Series model. While the design changes were largely evolutionary, the 100 was the first Land Cruiser available with a V8 engine, and it gained an independent front suspension system for the first time. Changes to the steering system were made as well. All told, it offered a smoother ride, more power, and a more luxurious cabin than its predecessor, but it remained just as capable off the beaten path. Production ended in 2007.
Power comes from a 4.7-liter V8, rated at 230 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
